Preventing Violence in the Home Preventing Violence in the Home is an incorporated society with charitable status formed in 1990 which has grown into a national organisation, offering training and consultancy throughout New Zealand. If you need support and information Preventing Violence in the Home is here to help - don’t hestitate to call from anywhere in the country on 0508 DVHELP (0508 384 357). The James family® a division of Presbyterian Support (Northern)The James family® deals with everything from entrenched violence and sexual abuse to poor behaviour at school, to loss and grief issues arising from family breakdown. Its key focus is helping children (0-17) and their families who are experiencing multiple difficulties in their lives. By intervening early in lives and by working with family, school and communities, James family® assists families to discover the skills and vision they need to regain control of their lives and hope for the future.
NO BULLYThis site is part of the Telecom/Police STOP BULLYING Campaign. There are many services available in your community that can help you deal with a bullying problem. This site contains a list of community support agencies, and programmes and resources for kids, teachers, parents and caregivers.
WOMEN'S REFUGE At Women's Refuge, we provide any of the support and information you need when you are dealing with violence in your life.
We won't judge you, and we won't tell you what to do. We're here to listen and to help you make choices for your safety. We are not a government department, we are an independent community organisation run by women for women and children.
