More of Olivia’s friends gave evidence of the events leading up to her disappearance today, describing the early morning arrival of Olivia and Ben to the Tamarack, the yacht chartered by the group of friends for the celebrations.

Kirsty Sutherland, a friend of Olivia’s, said that she, Ben and Olivia had planned to sleep the night where Ben was staying at nearby Punga Cove, and had returned to the Tamarack expecting to be picked up by another boat. The boat to Punga Cover never arrived and when Olivia decided to take her berth on the Tamarack instead, she found her bed occupied.

Others onboard also gave evidence, saying that they heard Olivia engaging in an argument about the situation. One reported a heated discussion lasting for 20-30 minutes before Olivia and Ben resolved to leave the boat to seek alternative sleeping arrangements onshore.
