Moday 23 Aug - Secret recordings at Watson murder trial
Secretly recorded tapes of conversations involving murder accused Scott Watson are expected to be heard in the High Court trial in Wellington Tuesday.
The tapes have been kept in a locked box at the High Court during the 11 week trial, with the key held at a separate location.

Meanwhile, today the court heard evidence from a former girlfriend of Watson's who has name and identity suppression.

The woman told the jury how police investigating the disappearance of the Blenheim friends faxed her a set of questions which she then asked the accused during a telephone conversation.
