Fri 3rd Sep - Day off before final stages of trial.
The jury in the Scott Watson murder trial has the day off today, as it prepares for the final stages of the long-running case.
The defence finished presenting its witnesses on Wednesday.

On Thursday the jury was taken to re-examine Watson's yacht Blade, which was brought to Wellington by ferry from the Marlborough Sounds.

On Monday, Crown and defence lawyers present their closing arguments before the judge sums up.

Justice Heron, has told the jury he expects they'll begin considering their verdict on Wednesday.
